WWE: 3 possible opponents for Braun Strowman as IC Champion

Braun Strowman vs. Cesaro would absolutely be a dream rivalry for the Intercontinental Championship. Nicknamed the Swiss Cyborg, Cesaro has been involved in some wonderful IC Title matches over the years, including a hidden gem match on SmackDown with Tyson Kidd and Dolph Ziggler.

Cesaro vs. Strowman could be special in 2020. Both men are known for their ridiculous strength, as Cesaro is one of the few athletes in WWE who can go toe-to-toe with Braun. Honestly, I’m not sure there is a better pure athlete in the company than Cesaro, whose strength and agility is awe-inspiring to watch.

Plus, there’s a natural transition. Nakamura lost the title to Strowman, but his teammate Cesaro could be the next one to attempt to defeat Braun in a fair fight. WWE will try to milk a little more out of this rivalry, and even if Cesaro can’t ultimately defeat the Monster, he could help attract more attention to his stable.

Cesaro, Nakamura, and Zayn could be amazing together, and staying in the spotlight can only help them. If they continue to impress and make waves, Vince McMahon will have no choice but to give them more opportunities on Friday nights.

And I mean, who doesn’t love watching Cesaro wrestle? The guy is on another level.
