WWE: 3 Possible Opponents for Braun Strowman at WrestleMania 36

2.) King Corbin

Remember the forgettable rivalry Braun Strowman and King Corbin had on Raw in 2018? Since that rivalry was not that memorable, many WWE fans could groan at this rivalry being revitalized. However, it could end up being better this time around.

Unlike Braun Strowman, King Corbin‘s character has developed since becoming King of the Ring and has helped him evolve into a multi-dimensional superstar. As his character improved, he also improved his in-ring skills, for his matches have been more enjoyable to watch as of late.

Hopefully, Corbin’s evolution will rub off on Strowman if they were to cross paths again. Corbin, a one-time United States Champion and MITB Winner, has been on SmackDown since the 2019 draft and has not yet won the Intercontinental Championship. Considering that his rivalry with Roman Reigns is finally over and he evidently lost that rivalry, his next step should beget back in the championship picture and regain his momentum in the process.

With the Universal Championship match at WrestleMania 36 already occupied by Roman Reigns and Goldberg, King Corbin should focus on the Intercontinental Championship. If he could deliver the highly protected End of Days to Strowman at WrestleMania 36, Corbin could find himself adding another prestigious championship to his resume.
