WWE: 5 possible opponents for Sasha Banks at WrestleMania 36

Alright, while we are at this early on, let’s get the one everyone is expecting out of the way, too. I know. Starting this list off hot with two boring picks, right? Well, boring as in expected. Trust me, if Sasha Banks vs. Bayley truly happens on the big show, then welllllllllllllllllll, it’s safe to say it won’t be boring.

In fact, anyone who has seen their now classic, pitch perfect matches from 2015 at back to back NXT TakeOvers knows just how special the chemistry between The Boss and The Champ truly is. So special that it is wild to think that they have yet to have had a proper feud or PPV match since then in the past five years.

Then again, the longer they made us wait, the more special their WrestleMania match should feel. The reason why it seems so inevitable that the match is happening is because WWE have practically planted subtle seeds of dissension between these two for months.

Even now, as Banks has returned. Save for the night that Banks was written off last month as “injured,” Bayley has basically enjoyed an undefeated streak in Sasha’s absence. Yet, the night she returns, Bayley is pinned for the first time in a month. Coincidence? Maybe, I don’t know. I don’t book these shows, but if it’s intentional, it could open the doors to a stellar storyline and an even more stellar Mania show stealer.
