WWE Money In The Bank 2020 will take place on May 10, 2020 at Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore, Maryland. The following will identify and explain three possible winners for the Men’s MITB Ladder Match.

Money In The Bank! Superstars like Edge, Rob Van Dam, CM Punk, The Miz, Daniel Bryan, Randy Orton, Dolph Ziggler, and Seth Rollins are some of the most prominent MITB winners of the past. Although there have been four failed MITB cash-ins in WWE history (e.g. John Cena, Damian Sandow, King Corbin, and Braun Strowman), the MITB briefcase has approximately an 80% success rate (i.e. 19/23 MITB cash-ins were successful) of guaranteeing a new champion.

Since NXT has been included in both Survivor Series and Royal Rumble, NXT should also be included in Money in the Bank Ladder Match this year. Henceforth, the NXT Championship should be included as an option to cash in on with the MITB Briefcase.

With WWE MITB 2020 coming soon, it is time to speculate on the many talented superstars who could be the next Mr. MITB. Although there are many options, there are three prime candidates from Raw, NXT, and SmackDown who could be a perfect fit as holder of the MITB Briefcase, starting with the Great Liberator from SmackDown, Sami Zayn.

3.) Sami Zayn

As our Mark Justice already pontificated, Sami Zayn’s miraculous success epitomized altruism. He already earned the Intercontinental Championship and the next step would be to advance to the main event scene and attempt to win the Universal or WWE Championship.

Since Zayn is booked as a fluky heel who wins every match by the skin of his teeth, winning one of the main card championships via a MITB cash-in would be suiting to his character. MITB is the ideal opportunity to give a cowardly heel a main card championship, like it did for The Miz in 2011.

Superstars like AJ Styles, Brock Lesnar, and John Cena are already booked as top stars in the WWE and do not necessarily need MITB to win a championship. Meanwhile, Zayn would need the MITB briefcase to make it to the next step and the pop from the WWE crowd once he cashes in the briefcase would be even louder than when he won the Intercontinental Championship at WWE Elimination Chamber 2020.
