Free WWE Network is the best news for wrestling fans in self isolation
WWE just announced they are providing free access to their Network for a limited time to wrestling fans, which is the best news during quarantine.
Remember outside? Like, literally, the outdoors? Yeah, those were fun while they lasted. Then, coronavirus hit the nation and suddenly, outside stopped existing when it became mandatory to be inside. Everyone in one way or another has been affected by the spread of the disease, including the WWE, hence why their prospected 80k showing of WrestleMania is now booked in an empty arena.
The world has become either increasingly difficult to live in or at the very least extremely distressing for a lot of us. For many of us, our only brief escape is wrestling. Thankfully, WWE was kind enough to provide that escape.
For a limited time only, the WWE Network will offer a free tier to thousands of features from their library. It previously already had a free tier, but only for videos already on YouTube. Now, the WWE Universe can access the likes of every single WrestleMania event, TakeOver shows and their original docs. Which is the best news some of us in self quarantining could hear.
Whether being alone by yourself brings you more stress or is simply too boring to stand, self quarantining and being lonely for extensive periods of time isn’t easy for everyone. In the past couple weeks alone, most of us may have done all there is to do without access to a Network subscription (assuming $9.99 a month isn’t in everyone’s budget).
For a lot of us, being able to watch mountains of wrestling content for free (for the time being at least) makes this difficult time a little easier to stand. Gives a lot of us something to do other than stress about what’s going on behind the confides of our homes.
So go and enjoy this new free tier of Network content while it lasts!
