Randy Orton vs. Edge has become a must-see feud on WWE Raw leading up to WrestleMania 36, and on the go-home show to the Show of Shows, The Rated R Superstar cut one last devastating promo on The Viper.

When Randy Orton attacked Edge on the episode of WWE Raw after The Rated R Superstar’s incredible Royal Rumble return, he set in motion a rivalry that has become arguably the most captivating story in WWE right now. And with Becky Lynch vs. Shayna Baszler and Seth Rollins vs. Kevin Owens being built up for WrestleMania on Monday nights, that’s high praise indeed.

It didn’t take long for Edge to remind fans why he’s one of the most beloved wrestlers in WWE history. The man is dynamite on the microphone, and when he looks right into the camera and speaks with his heart and soul, you know an ass-kicking is coming.

On the flip side, Randy Orton has helped bring out the best in Edge. In the biggest programs and with a personal story on the line, Orton knows how it make it feel real. The Apex Predator of WWE, as he is referred to, Orton is widely recognized as one of the best heels in the business when the stars align. And in this throwback feud with his old tag team partner, the stars have certainly aligned for the former Evolution stable member.

Orton has made Edge’s life miserable throughout the build to WrestleMania 36, first attacking the WWE icon and then attacking his wife Beth Phoenix on Monday Night Raw to make this story even more personal.

And on the go-home episode of WWE Raw, Edge gave Orton one last verbal parting shot before what will be an incredible Last Man Standing match on WrestleMania weekend.

Admit it. You got chills from the moment the video started.

The way Edge bares his soul to the camera and stares into Orton’s eyes, knowing The Viper is watching from the other side of the screen, is something to behold. Edge has the kind of commanding presence and delivery that is learned but also seemingly innate. He’s a natural and you can’t help but be mesmerized and haunted by the way he speaks.

Edge knows Orton is playing a game here to destroy him. He knows Orton wants to make this personal, and he’s disgusted by the lengths his rival has gone to get in his head, including learning the names of his daughters just to use them in promos. And he’s undoubtedly disgusted with what Orton did to Beth Phoenix, his wife and one of the greatest wrestlers in WWE history.

Orton will get what’s coming to him in the Last Man Standing match, but, as Edge well knows, facing Orton in a Last Man Standing match is a dangerous proposition.
