With Seth Rollins set to wrestle Kevin Owens one on one at WWE WrestleMania 36, here is why The Monday Night Messiah needs to win.

This weekend is the weekend we’ve all been waiting for: Mania weekend, where WWE WrestleMania 36 is set to be a two night extravaganza for the first time in the event’s history. It’s less because “It’s TOO Big for One Night!” and more so because of a novel coronavirus outbreak, but hey, we can all use a weekend of distractions in these weird times.

One of the matches that will hapily take our minds off of the weirdness is Kevin Owens vs. Seth Rollins. This is a feud that has been in motion since the night after Survivor Series, when KO Stunnner’d a disrespectful Rollins into next week.

In response, Rollins started a cult (as anyone who has their brains scrambled by a Stunner would do, duh) and ravaged through the red brand as its self-proclaimed savior or, in his own words, Raw’s Monday Night Messiah.

Owens then got some backup for himself. In fact, he’s had a revolving door of teammates ranging everywhere from Street Profits to War Raiders since last fall, but now in what is expected to finally blow off the feud, Rollins and Owens go one on one this weekend at the Grandest Performance Center of Them All that is WrestleMania.

There are plenty of reasons as to why KO should probably win this one, but to counter such points, I offer some reasons as to why Rollins should be the one getting his hand raised.
