At WWE WrestleMania 36, exactly three WWE Superstars need a win more than anyone else this weekend. Let’s name them and explain why.

Mania weekend has finally arrived, but this weekend, Mania weekend is going to be very different from past years. Rather than the usual spiel that entails a Hall of Fame ceremony coupled with a TakeOver show right before Mania itself, Mania weekend will strictly be reserved for, well, Mania itself: WWE WrestleMania 36 is going to consume both Saturday and Sunday.

In a move that may never be seen again, but was necessary in a newly weird world dominated by a novel coronavirus outbreak, WrestleMania is going to be two nights of blood, sweat, tears and quarantined spandex inside of a familiar Performance Center.

The weekend’s card is going to feature 16 matches in total, which means eight matches across three hours per night. It may not quite look or feel like WrestleMania, but the bottom line is that it is WrestleMania, meaning that wins and losses on these nights matter just as much in an empty training facility as they would in a packed stadium of 80,000+ people in attendance.

No fans will be in attendance, but plenty of WWE Superstars will be onboard this ship to compete in each match. Of these 16 matches, there is a select number of folks who absolutely need to walk out of this weekend with Ws in their respective win/loss columns. Let’s take a moment to talk about exactly who those folks are and why they need a win so badly.
