WWE: 5 superstars who could beat Becky Lynch for the Raw Women’s Championship
After Becky Lynch retained her Raw Women’s Championship against Shayna Baszler at WWE WrestleMania 36, who could possibly be the one to dethrone her?
The first night of WWE WrestleMania 36 is in the books, and we saw Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch walk out for the second year in a row with the Raw Women’s Championship in her grasp. Shayna Baszler pushed her, but a timely counter was enough for Lynch to squeak out a victory and crush Baszler’s hopes of dominating “The Man” at WrestleMania.
After capturing the title in the main event of WrestleMania 35, Becky Lynch has now held the Raw Women’s Championship for 363 days and counting. Considering the unstable nature of WWE‘s future and immediate shows, that reign could easily tack on a few more months or even longer.
After defeating an entire year as champion without anyone being able to topple “The Man,” there’s now the burning question of just who could possibly dethrone her. To many, “The Queen of Spades” Shayna Baszler seemed like the optimal choice. The timing seemed right, and yet Lynch continues to reign.
If it’s not going to be Shayna Baszler, which based on the outcome at WrestleMania 36, they likely wouldn’t have Baszler come up short on that stage only to take it from Lynch at their next pay-per-view event. Here, we’ll take a look at five superstars from WWE and NXT that could be the ones to dethrone Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch.
