Becky Lynch’s 5 best title defenses so far
By Simon Hannig
Last Tuesday, Becky Lynch surpassed a year as being the WWE Raw Women’s Champion. She won the title back at WrestleMania 35 after defeating Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair.
The Man has transcended the WWE women’s division into lengths more than we could’ve imagined. She is one of the main draws in the company now, and will be for the rest of her career.
Now, she has the longest reign for a Raw Women’s Champion. How long will this reign last? We do not know. However, we know it has been a great reign for her so far with a lot of great matches.
Daily DDT takes a look and ranks Lynch’s best title defenses so far.
5.) Defeating Shayna Baszler at WrestleMania 36
The feud between Baszler and Lynch was a slow one. Baszler showed up at Monday Night Raw and decided to bite Lynch in the neck, and that is how all of this started.
Baszler would then dominate the women’s Elimination Chamber by eliminating every wrestler that was in the match, and the winner of the match would have the right to face The Man at WrestleMania.
It would seem like The Queen of Spades was destined to dethrone The Man at the show of shows.
The match itself was pretty decent at WrestleMania 36. The finish of the match was questionable at best, and it felt like the finish could’ve been done better. However, The Man still came out on top and retained.
It was refreshing to see The Man go up against someone new, and not like the usual wrestlers that we may have that she would face.
The Man was an underdog going into this match at the show of shows, but she still came out on top like she said she would.
It would be interesting to see how a second match and a continued feud would go on between the two.
For now, it seems like the feud between the two seems like it will continue for at least a little bit longer.
