Although Aleister Black has been stuck defeating jobbers every week on Monday Night Raw, he tends to defeat formidable opponents on PPV, such as AJ Styles at WWE Elimination Chamber 2020 and Bobby Lashley at WWE WrestleMania 36. But can he defeat Brock Lesnar?

Brock Lesnar could either be a significant stepping stone for Aleister Black to break into the main event scene or a testament to Black’s weakness in his character development and in-ring abilities that would have been sufficient to advancing him into the main event scene. Why has Aleister Black not yet won a championship since debuting on the main roster if he wins almost every match he is booked in?

Maybe it’s because his character needs to connect further with the WWE Universe and having a rivalry with Brock Lesnar could bring to light the missing dimension that would warrant him long-term success in the main event scene of the WWE. Maybe he needs a loss to Brock Lesnar as a wake-up call to help him recognize what he is actually missing in his quest to obtaining and maintaining main event status in the WWE.

A rivalry with Lesnar would do wonders for Black’s career and Black has won enough matches against top competitors to warrant a match with Lesnar. Both Lesnar and Black are unstoppable forces that the WWE Universe would be very intrigued in witnessing inside the squared circle. Who can stop the other? There’s only one way to find out: just keep fighting.
