WWE NXT is set to take place on Apr. 22, 2020 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT live on the USA Network with no audience in attendance. The following will preview and predict the major matches and segments that will occur on the longest weekly running episodic television show in history.

On this week’s episode of WWE NXT, there are five officially scheduled matches: (1) Velveteen Dream vs. Finn Balor, (2) Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez vs. Tegan Nox and Shotzi Blackheart, (3) Kushida vs. Tony Nese, (4) Jake Atlas vs. Drake Maverick, and (5) El Hijo del Fantasma vs. Jack Gallagher. As of this writing, there are no officially scheduled segments.

WWE Money In The Bank 2020 is coming up and there is bound to be some NXT matches announced for the event since it is a big 5 PPV where all brands congregate. NXT Champion Adam Cole and NXT Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair should be present for this episode of NXT.

With that being said, it’s now time to preview and predict this week’s WWE NXT. To start things off, let’s predict who will win the tag team match featuring Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez vs. Tegan Nox and Shotzi Blackheart.

5.) Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez Defeat Tegan Nox and Shotzi Blackheart

Last week on NXT, Tegan Nox defeated Raquel Gonzalez, thanks to some ringside assistance from Shotzi Blackheart. The result of this match elicited this scheduled tag team match and it could truly be booked either way and still be considered good booking.

However, Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez are the established tag team and should win the match. It’s understandable that Tegan Nox and Shotzi Blackheart need some comeuppance and babyface momentum, but Kai and Gonzalez need to prove that they are a greater force to be reckoned with when together rather than apart.

It is clear that the heels, Kai and Gonzalez, cannot win matches on their own when battling Tegan Nox. Henceforth, if they lost as a tag team, they would look incredibly weak and that should not be the case for the future star of the year and her assistant bodyguard.
