WWE Money in the Bank 2020 will take place on May 10 at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT live on the WWE Network with the kickoff show beginning at 6 p.m. ET/3 p.m. PT. The following will identify and expound on three superstars who need to win at this PPV.

There are many talented superstars who need to win the WWE Money in the Bank 2020 Ladder Matches to solidify their future position in the main event scene. However, with the MITB Ladder Matches being the main theme of this PPV, it is easy to overlook and neglect the other rivalries that are taking place at this very special event.

Indeed, there are some very intriguing rivalries that are taking place at this PPV, of which certain superstars need to win. The following will focus on who needs to win the most important rivalries at WWE Money in the Bank 2020, starting with Fire and Desire.

3.) Sonya Deville

Fire and Desire! A match between Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville has not been officially added to the card yet, but it should be added to card this Friday on SmackDown. As one of the top rising stars in the WWE at the moment, Sonya Deville did an excellent heel job at devising a plan to ruin Mandy Rose’s love life, reveal the grudges she has held against her best friend for so long, and even screw Rose in her MITB Qualifying Match against Carmella on last week’s SmackDown.

Although these seemed immoral and unjustifiable to do, Deville’s actions were sensible because this is not simply the “best friends can become your enemy” storyline. It was clear that partiality was being implemented when the WWE booked the team of Fire and Desire because Rose received more opportunities than Deville in certain ways:

(1) Mandy Rose earned a SmackDown Women’s Championship match against Asuka at WWE Fastlane 2019. Meanwhile, Sonya Deville has never been in a championship match on the main roster.

(2) Sonya Deville gave Mandy Rose her spot in Women’s MITB Ladder Match at last year’s MITB PPV and Mandy Rose was again the only one out of the two who was included in a qualification match for this year’s MITB Ladder Match.

Although Rose is definitely very talented and much more than a pretty face, Deville needs to redeem herself from all the opportunities she missed while teaming with Rose. Since Otis already obtained his WrestleMania moment, Deville should defeat Rose at WWE Money in the Bank 2020 to get her Fire and Desire moment and they can even the score at the end of a trilogy with a mixed tag team match featuring Otis and Mandy Rose vs. Dolph Ziggler and Sonya Deville at the next PPV in June.
