3.) Mustafa Ali

Mustafa Ali, a former Cruiserweight from 205 Live, arrived on the main roster and made an impact by getting into a very memorable program with Daniel Bryan. His matches with the likes of Daniel Bryan and Shinsuke Nakamura in high stake championship matches were all show-stealing matches and really proved that he can hang in the big leagues with the big fish in the big pond.

It seemed that his push was promising until he got injured and replaced in the WWE Championship Elimination Chamber Match, was screwed in the Men’s MITB Ladder Match in 2019 by Brock Lesnar, failed to win the King of the Ring Tournament, failed to win the Intercontinental Championship against Shinsuke Nakamura, and failed to win the SmackDown Tag Team Championships with Shorty G. Unless he is the current hacker in the WWE, there is not much going for the Pakistani Cruiserweight.

Thanks to Ali’s heartfelt promos in undisclosed locations about re-writing his own story and redeeming his past failures, many fans kept hope for Ali’s future. However, nothing has progressed yet and it is thereby clear that the piss poor booking of Mustafa Ali on SmackDown as of late is an injustice to his many talents that are disclosed through his athletically sound maneuvers and profound in-ring psychology inside the squared circle.

Mustafa Ali’s gimmick of being the light to the darkness and the truth to the many fallacies of the world clearly show that he is championship material, but the WWE Universe does not know this yet because his momentum does not support it. As long as the WWE allows him to cut more of those heartfelt promos, he will prove why he needs to be pushed, rather than wasted.
