Banks vs. Bayley needs to be endgame

The seeds have been planted for the feud and so Sasha Banks vs. Bayley just seems inevitable at this point. It’s not so much a matter of “if” for the role models colliding as much as it is “when.”

“When” won’t be anytime soon it seems. Most people are projecting the “when” to be as early as SummerSlam or late as next year’s WrestleMania, but whenever it does happen, there must be a title on the line.

Granted, the roots of Bayley and Banks’ history runs deep enough that a title technically isn’t necessary when their beef alone can carry a compelling storyline, but a counterargument would be that the best storylines deserve championships just to up the ante a little bit further. This is the case with Bayley vs. Banks.

So Tamina, in theory, could win the title at WWE Money in the Bank 2020 and the Banks vs. Bayley feud would keep on simmering. However, the feud would mean so much more if Bayley manages to hold onto that title and after holding the belt longer than anyone else in the title’s history, only her former best friend can stop her.

That’s compelling storytelling that shouldn’t be messed with in favor of a shock win for Tamina.
