Peyton Royce and Billie Kay returned to television on the May 11 episode of WWE Raw, doing their best to ruin the celebration of Becky Lynch’s announcement that she will become a mother.

WWE fans have been waiting for The IIconics to return to WWE television for several months. Peyton Royce and Billie Kay hadn’t been seen since November when they lost to Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch in a tag team match, and some fans were wondering if Kay and Royce could resurface in NXT, where it all began for them.

However, Kay and Royce surprisingly interrupted the episode of “Moment of Bliss” with Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross, who were busy giving their congratulations to Becky Lynch. “The Man” announced to start the show that she would be leaving to become a mother, adding that the Money in the Bank briefcase Asuka won actually made her the immediate Raw Women’s Champion.

It was only natural for Royce and Kay to try to steal the spotlight in this way, erasing the wholesome kindness from Cross in order to make their presence felt.

And what did The IIconics do first? Challenge Bliss and Cross for the Women’s Tag Team Championships, which the babyface duo won at WrestleMania 36 off the Kabuki Warriors, one year after Royce and Kay won the tag titles themselves at ‘Mania 35.

The IIconics, as they always do, got under everyone’s skin by throwing out childish insults and dismissing the importance of Becky Lynch’s announcement.

It’s awesome to see Kay and Royce back in WWE and in the tag title picture. The Women’s Tag Title scene is much better with them, as they are excellent heels. I can’t wait to get absolutely annoyed by them again. They were missed. So while they were insulting others and heeling it up, add their returns to the lengthy list of wholesome moments on the May 11 episode of Raw.
