Instead of turning the Big Show heel or face every time he returns to the squared circle, the WWE needs to give the fans fresh heel turns and face turns that are in high demand and are sensible for the current storylines. The following will cover five heel and face turns we need to see in 2020.

Heel Turns! When a hero becomes a villain, it leaves a bad taste in the audience’s mouths. The fans trusted that hero to inspire them, make them laugh, and/or perform moral deeds. However, there is always that ‘nice guys finish last’ mentality in life, which certain superstars experience in their professional wrestling careers once they end up on losing streaks or encounter a pivotal stalemate in their momentum that fan support does not seem to aid.

Face Turns! When a villain becomes a hero, it uplifts the hearts of the WWE fanbase. The fans hated that villain for his/her nefarious victories in matches and off-putting insults in promos. However, there is always that ‘cheaters never win’ mentality in life, which certain superstars experience in their professional wrestling careers once they notice the error of their ways and want to right the wrongs of their past for the betterment of the WWE Universe.

When not used excessively (*cough* Big Show), heel turns and face turns can make or break a superstar’s career. Despite there being no crowd reactions today, these turns could still work to the superstars’ advantage. With that being said, here are five heel and face turns we need to see in 2020, starting with the Viking Raiders turning heel.
