Jinder Mahal

Jinder Mahal returned after a hiatus, and one cannot deny the fact that the superstar is still worth TV time. His return created waves, and the ‘Modern Day Maharaja’ wants to start his hero’s journey on the company’s flagship show.

It would be a great idea to see the former WWE Champion come to the ring or cut a promo on Apollo Crews through the titantron, and in turn, challenge the champion for a title opportunity at Backlash. WWE has less time at its disposal, and they need to put the pieces of the puzzle together quickly.

A match between two superstars that have expertise in using the ropes to their advantage will be a value add to the company as the program needs some quality matches to up their ratings. Jinder Mahal has a huge fan base in India, and the company would want to capitalize on this aspect because he can help the Asian market blossom with his presence on TV.

Backlash takes place in two weeks, so the champion needs to know his new opponent as quick as next week. WWE should focus on promoting other superstars, and Jinder Mahal is one such superstar that would be a good opponent.
