Fight Pit match on NXT this week was a treat to watch, but that left us asking for more. Which WWE superstars could go in the pit next?

NXT is not just the third brand of WWE, but it is also the brand that loves to experiment and deliver. The brand gave us WarGames, which was a WCW specific show. Ever since it made its return in 2017, we have seen amazing matches between the ropes. The superstars on the show, including the new, as well as experienced ones on the brand, have delivered.

William Regal and his team, under the direction of WWE COO Triple H, have worked hard enough to bring the third brand at par with the main roster shows. Road Dogg, Shawn Micheals, and Hunter spearheaded the attack by NXT on SmackDown to start the conversation around Survivor Series last year when the superstars of the blue brand didn’t reach in time due to a flight issue in Saudi Arabia following Crown Jewel.

It was a time of resurgence for the Wednesday Night show as they started the buzz about the brand-specific event, and it became a talk of the town when the show culminated.

This week, the brand took another step as they introduced us to a Fight Pit match between Matt Riddle and Timothy Thatcher wherein WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle was in stripes and overseeing the proceedings.

The excitement and anticipation in the match leaves us wanting more, and these five matches will be a good idea inside the Fight Pit:

Brock Lesnar vs. Bobby Lashley

A match between these two powerhouses can be a part of any show, but this match would fit them well. With prior experience inside the Octagon, these two know a thing or two about using the structure to their advantage. They know how to bring about entertainment between the ropes while their respective managers are skilled enough to do the job on the mic.
