WWE: 3 reasons why The Rock’s peak was better than Stone Cold’s
By Amit Shukla
Did The Rock or Stone Cold have the better prime in WWE?
Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock are two superstars that changed the landscape of the WWE and professional wrestling with their promos and in-ring work. It was the time of Monday Night Wars, and Ted Turner and Co. had decided to step up to Vince McMahon and take him down.
The two superstars mentioned above are the ones that still send chills down the spine, and if their work is a testament, we know that this is an embodiment of what a nemesis should be like in the field of professional wrestling.
The two went toe to toe with each other and ensured that the worldwide fans got their dose of entertainment at all times. The current Hollywood Superstar is, “The jabroni-beating, la-la-la-la pie-eating, trailblazing, eyebrow-raising step off the brake, put your foot on the gas, always ready to whoop some ass, People’s Champ, The Rock!.” He continues to be the busiest superstar in Hollywood as he was in the WWE, and I list why he was better than Stone Cold Steve Austin (don’t stun me Stone Cold, I am your fan for life):
The Rock’s Appeal
If you speak to Good Ol’ JR, he would tell you what combustible elements look like on television. The revered commentator in the wrestling business has seen them grow from The Ringmaster to Stone Cold Steve Austin and the debut of The most electrifying man in all of sports entertainment, The Rock.
The Rock didn’t have an instant connection with the WWE Universe, but it all changed sometime later, and there was no looking back since. The fans love him, and he had an appeal beyond the wrestling ring.
