Sasha Banks and Asuka killed it on WWE Raw this week.

WWE has already announced two major title matches for Extreme Rules, and this week’s episode of WWE Raw featured an excellent contract signing for both matches. And in the main event, Dolph Ziggler and Sasha Banks teamed up to take on Drew McIntyre and Asuka in mixed tag competition, with The Boss picking up yet another big victory.

Here are five takeaways from this week’s show, which was absolutely a strong effort from the first hour through the third.

Seth Rollins vs. Rey Mysterio only gets better

The rivalry between Seth Rollins and Rey Mysterio keeps getting more heated by the week. Rollins’ promo work has been hitting another level over the past couple of months, as he’s really dug into the new heel “Messiah” character. His speeches still pretty much say a whole lot of nothing, but they are actually believable now in the sense that Rollins just seems so engrossed in this character.

Mysterio promised to use the old “eye for an eye” Hammurabi’s Code treatment to avenge what Rollins did to his eye about a month ago. The WWE legend then had Aleister Black and Humberto Carrillo fight Rollins and Murphy on Mysterio’s behalf, but Carrillo ended up getting stomped into the steel steps.

WWE Raw has a few great rivalries, namely Sasha Banks vs. Asuka and the long-running Randy Orton vs. Edge rivalry, and Rollins vs. Mysterio is up there with the best of them. It involves a few other major players, the ascending Dominic, and a story that is easy to follow.
