WWE Raw Results and Grades: Three can’t-miss returns and a dream match

Sasha Banks vs. Kairi Sane

Result: Kairi Sane wins by DQ

Grade: A, Excellent match, and while it was a DQ finish, it worked because it gave us an amazing elbow drop to the outside.

Once again, Bayley threw Sasha Banks into a match, but wrestling fans are definitely glad about this one. Kairi Sane vs. Sasha has been on the dream match list for some time, and this is one of the matches fans want to see before Sane says farewell from WWE.

Kairi started the match aggressively, hitting Sasha with a flurry of strikes to the chest. It was an even beginning, but it seemed like everything Sasha tried to do, Kairi had the exact answer or counter for it.

Banks talked some trash and dragged Sane to the ropes to taunt Asuka, but she kept her eyes away from the Pirate Princes for too long. Bayley got involved to argue with Asuka, so both she and Banks ended up getting slammed onto the barricade with a baseball slide.

After the commercial break, Banks got a little more vicious in her approach, knowing she’d need to step it up to put away a wrestler of Sane’s caliber.

Desperate to get the win, Banks even grabbed at Kairi’s hair, with Asuka screaming on the outside of the ring. Banks then grabbed Kairi and brought her over to the side of the ring with Bayley to brag with her best friend. But afterward, she made the mistake of going to the well twice, as Sane countered another double-knees attempt then hit a forearm smash.

Later, Banks and Sane traded roll-ups, and The Boss grew frustrated when she couldn’t put away her opponent after hitting a nasty Meteora from close range.

Kairi had Sasha in a dangerous submission that The Boss was selling perfectly, but Bayley saved the match for a DQ. Bayley and Sasha then ganged up on Asuka outside the ring, and they paid for it when Kairi hit an InSane Elbow onto the outside!
