WWE SmackDown is set to take place on July 10, 2020, at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT live on FOX.

On this week’s episode of WWE SmackDown, there are two matches scheduled: (1) The New Day (c) vs. Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura for the SmackDown Tag Championships, and (2) Bliss Cross Applesauce vs. Bayley and Sasha Banks. As for WWE Extreme Rules 2020, the following SmackDown matches have already been announced: (1) Braun Strowman vs. Bray Wyatt in a  Wyatt Swamp Fight, and (2) Bayley (c) vs. Nikki Cross for the SmackDown Women’s Championship.

The WWE Universe will very likely be wondering who is next for the Intercontinental Champion AJ Styles as well. The past three weeks of SmackDown indicated that Matt Riddle would be next in line for that championship. However, he has also been in a rivalry with King Corbin, which could take precedence over his feud with Styles due to his past encounters with Corbin at WWE Survivor Series 2019 and WWE Royal Rumble 2020.

In terms of non-title feuds, Jeff Hardy has been in a ‘piss poor’ rivalry with Sheamus and is scheduled for a Miz TV segment on this episode to discuss said rivalry. In the women’s division, Mandy Rose is still in a riveting rivalry with Sonya Deville that has not been addressed on television in the past two weeks but should be coming to an end this summer. Coincidentally, Rose and Deville were last seen on Miz TV.

Without further ado, the following will preview and predict the major matches and segments that will happen on this week’s WWE SmackDown, which is two weeks away from WWE Extreme Rules 2020. To start things off, let’s predict who will win the scheduled SmackDown Tag Team Championship match between The New Day’s Kofi Kingston and Big E and Artist Collective’s Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura.
