Ruby Riott and Liv Morgan are two of the best examples that the fans can cite and confirm that if WWE wants you to doom your character after a hype, they can do it with ease. Liv Morgan went off TV last year, and rumours had it that she would return with a great storyline, but instead, she became a part of a storyline that no one liked in the WWE or the WWE Universe.

Fast forward two months later on the Feb. 3 episode of Raw, Ruby Riott made a return and took down her former Riott Squad member, but it didn’t lead them anywhere. Morgan became an afterthought while Ruby was involved in backstage segments with The IIconics.

On the June 22 episode of Raw Ruby Riott and Liv Morgan crossed paths backstage with the latter telling the former how she feels. The vignettes of Morgan and the hype around her return turned into a hoax as did Ruby Riott’s first day on the job after her comeback to the ring.

The two are directionless at this time, but it would be a good idea if the company turns them into something worthwhile before they move to obscurity. It would be a lifesaver for Liv who hasn’t excelled well despite her push and Ruby too who needs something substantial to prove her skills.
