On last night’s WWE Extreme Rules 2020, Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura defeated The New Day in a tag team tables match to become the new SmackDown Tag Team Champions. They should have a rematch against The New Day at WWE SummerSlam 2020, where Cesaro and Nakamura can solidify their title reign with another victory over the former champions.
It has been long overdue for these underutilized superstars to be rewarded with a long-term push that would permit them to make an indelible impact. In this case, Cesaro and Nakamura now have the opportunity to elevate the SmackDown Tag Team Division, and the WWE should strike while the iron is hot with these prolific artists, who can express their practical motifs during this reign.

Street Profits (c) vs. Andrade and Angel Garza (w/Zelina Vega) [Raw Tag Team Championships]
On last night’s Extreme Rules 2020, Street Profits did not defend the Raw Tag Team Championships. After defeating Viking Raiders for three weeks straight, Andrade and Garza are poised for a Raw Tag Team Championship opportunity. They have supposedly been on the same page and they have those victories to corroborate that.
While the tag team chemistry and compatibility between Andrade and Garza are ostensibly nascent, their exaggerative signs of cohesiveness ironically symbolize their unfortunate but eventual dissent and disbandment. Their dissent and disbandment will inevitably lead to Street Profits retaining the Raw Tag Team Championships at WWE SummerSlam 2020.
