WWE NXT’s North American Championship is up for grabs, but who else will get an opportunity to win the title?

Two weeks ago, Keith Lee became the first double-champion in WWE NXT history, winning the NXT Championship from Adam Cole in the main event of Great American Bash’s second night. But on this week’s episode of the Black and Gold brand, Lee relinquished the mid-card title as the “big announcement”. The logic in kayfabe? Lee wants to make sure other wrestlers in the division get an opportunity.

The North American Championship will be on the line at NXT TakeOver: XXX in a ladder match involving the usual six competitors. One of the wrestlers has already been decided, as Bronson Reed defeated Johnny Gargano and Roderick Strong in a star-teasing performance.

William Regal will continue to announce Triple Threat matches to fill remaining slots. Timothy Thatcher vs. Dexter Lumis vs. Finn Balor will occur next week as the next Triple Threat contender’s match for the bigger ladder match.

But which other NXT men could get opportunities to qualify for the ladder match in a Triple Threat? Here are six wrestlers we would like to see getting a chance to qualify for the North American Title ladder match at TakeOver: XXX.
