WWE Raw Predictions: Drew McIntyre Will Make Someone Quit

2.) Asuka vs. Sasha Banks [Raw Women’s Championship]

Last week on WWE Raw, in response to the controversial conclusion of the Raw Women’s Championship Match at WWE Extreme Rules 2020, Raw Commissioner Stephanie McMahon announced that Asuka and Sasha Banks will battle in a Raw Women’s Championship match, in which the title can change hands if anybody (e.g. Bayley) interferes.

Despite Stephanie McMahon’s restrictive stipulation, Bayley will probably interfere anyways due to mere heel-like defiance of authority and outright willingness to nefariously help her best friend win the Raw Women’s Championship. In order to avoid getting caught by the referee, she could sneak in a steel chair to Banks from under the ring and/or distract Asuka from the titantron.

However, there’s a strong possibility that this plan will backfire. If it does backfire, Bayley would be costing Banks the Raw Women’s Championship. Banks would be angry with Bayley for ruining her chances at becoming ‘2 Beltz Banks’ and this mishap would incite Banks to chase Bayley’s SmackDown Women’s Championship at WWE SummerSlam 2020 instead.

Consequently, it would be clever and logical to book Asuka to win the Raw Women’s Championship via illegal interference by Bayley. Additionally, Shayna Baszler, who issued a warning that she was hungry for competition, will wreak havoc by attacking Asuka after this championship match to set up her long overdue championship match with Asuka at SummerSlam.
