WWE SummerSlam 2020 is scheduled to take place on August 23, 2020 at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT.

WWE SummerSlam 2020! Indeed, it is the biggest event of the summer. Since the PPV is two weeks away and more matches have been officially announced, it’s an appropriate time to predict the WWE SummerSlam 2020 match card. Hopefully, this won’t be as toilsome as predicting the tournament brackets for the NBA Championship.

As usual, there will be a plenitude of deliberate presumptions, especially when pertaining to each of the championship matches and personal rivalries that have not been officially announced yet. This applies mostly to SmackDown’s SummerSlam rivalries since all of the matches announced thus far have been based on Raw’s SummerSlam rivalries.

Historically, SummerSlam is renowned for being one of the PPVs where MITB cash-ins have a tendency to occur. With Alberto Del Rio and Randy Orton as inspirations from the past, Mr. MITB Otis could cash in during the Universal Championship match, the WWE Championship match, or even the Raw/SmackDown Tag Team Championship matches with Tucker.

Hopefully, there will be a plethora of historic moments in the following championship matches and personal rivalries. Whether those moments are rarely promoted with meaningful storylines and good-feel moments or more commonly relegated to risible swerves, here are some presumptive match card predictions for WWE SummerSlam 2020.
