WWE SummerSlam 2020 Predictions: Otis Will Cash In His MITB Contract

Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura (c) vs. Lucha House Party [SmackDown Tag Team Championships]
On last week’s SmackDown, Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura celebrated their tag team title win at WWE Extreme Rules 2020 with a ‘Champions’ Party’ and ridiculed Lucha House Party in the process. Will their party ever be as great as Gatsby’s? Far from it. However, it will conveniently set up a SmackDown Tag Team Championship match between these two talented teams, who happen to be ‘party poopers,’ at WWE SummerSlam 2020.
Despite Gran Metalik’s recent Intercontinental Championship opportunity against AJ Styles, Lucha House Party has had lackluster momentum for months, so it would be bold to foresee them winning the titles on Cesaro and Nakamura’s first title defense. Cesaro and Nakamura now have the opportunity to elevate the SmackDown Tag Team Division and they will retain here to continue making an indelible impact on this division.
Prediction: Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura
Street Profits (c) vs. Andrade and Angel Garza (w/Zelina Vega) [Raw Tag Team Championships]
On the last two weeks of Raw, Andrade and Angel Garza defeated Viking Raiders and 2 Fly Crew in a triple threat tag team match to become number one contenders for the Street Profits’ Raw Tag Team Championships and defeated Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins in singles matches respectively. Although one of those singles matches had a controversial ending, Andrade and Garza have supposedly been on the same page and they have those victories to corroborate that.
Indeed, Andrade and Garza have no problem winning singles matches because they are singles stars who don’t need each other to win. However, they never defeated the Street Profits in a tag team match, which is what will matter most at WWE SummerSlam 2020. When it comes to tag team matches, Street Profits have the advantage because their chemistry and compatibility are ostensibly superior to Andrade and Garza’s, which will lead to their retention.
