WWE Payback 2020: Full match card predictions before SummerSlam

Raw Tag Team Championship Match: Andrade & Angel Garza (c) vs. The Street Profits

This is the first of three championship rematches I’m expecting to see at WWE Payback. Andrade and Angel Garza, with Zelina Vega at their side, have continued to make their presence felt and build chemistry and cohesion as a tag team.

If they can capitalize on that and manage to dethrone The Street Profits at SummerSlam, potentially with the same kind of poisoning shenanigans we saw recently on WWE Raw, there would be plenty of reason for a rematch. WWE Payback is the place to do that, as The Street Profits would look to take back their titles from the newly crowned Andrade and Angel Garza.

Steel Cage Match: Mandy Rose vs. Sonya Deville

While not for a championship, this is another rematch I could see at WWE Payback. We’ll finally see the bitter personal rivalry between Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose culminate at SummerSlam in a Hair vs. Hair Match.

Regardless of who wins that contest, there will still be a lot of anger and it’s unlikely to actually end things between these two. It may take a Steel Cage to keep them contained, leading to this cap on the end of a vicious rivalry between these former best friends.

WWE Championship Falls Count Anywhere Match: Drew McIntyre (c) vs. Randy Orton

WWE is no stranger to giving even huge pay-per-view championship matches a non-finish. Don’t be surprised if these two men get carried away at SummerSlam, causing the match to spill out of the ring and give an anticlimactic double count-out.

All of that would be to set up this Falls Count Anywhere rematch at WWE Payback with the WWE Championship on the line once again. Orton and McIntyre both know how to show out in environments like this, so setup aside, this would be a fantastically violent contest.
