7.) Seth Rollins/Lita = Kevin Durant

Kevin Durant betrayed his first NBA team, the Oklahoma City Thunder, as well as one of his former best friends, Russell Westbrook, to win two NBA Championships with Stephen Curry and The Golden State Warriors.

He then betrayed Stephen Curry and The Golden State Warriors to join the Brooklyn Nets, a team that probably won’t reap any benefits from his star power this season since he ruptured the Achilles tendon in his right leg during Game 5 of the 2019 NBA Finals that will assuredly sideline him for a full calendar year.

Unlike Lebron James who left the Cleveland Cavaliers to get two NBA Championships with the Miami Heat but went back to Cleveland to win the city their first NBA Championship in history, Durant did not bother returning to Oklahoma City Thunder to give back to his first team. Clearly, Durant is the snake or the ‘ultimate heel’ in the NBA, but he is not alone.

While Randy Orton may consider himself the only ‘venomous snake’ in the WWE, Seth Rollins and Lita fit the description of Kevin Durant more accurately because Seth Rollins betrayed The Shield and Lita betrayed Matt Hardy in her love storyline with Edge.

While Rollins and Lita represent the treachery that Kevin Durant embodies in the NBA, there are WWE superstars who represent the loyalty that Carmelo Anthony embodies in the NBA.

6.) Dolph Ziggler/Natalya = Carmelo Anthony

Since 2003, Carmelo Anthony has been one of the most consistently popular players in the NBA (e.g. his merchandise sales are off the charts), yet has never won the NBA Championship. Despite getting screwed over and over again in trades and free agent drafts everywhere he goes, he has remained loyal to the NBA by any means necessary.

Considering that Carmelo Anthony has remained loyal to the NBA for seventeen years, Dolph Ziggler and Natalya would fit this description quite appropriately since they have remained loyal to the WWE for a long period of time.

Despite the WWE’s myopic booking of their momentum and character development (e.g. the ‘fart’ gimmick for Natalya), Ziggler and Natalya have subjected themselves to WWE’s lack of creativity and originality for the sake of loyalty.
