5.) Will Asuka Win Both Raw and SmackDown Women’s Championships?

Amit Shukla: Asuka is the only contender for both tiles, and as amazing as it looks, it also raises the question that the company has no trust in its performers. It is a challenging situation for the WWE because they have moved from the Performance Center to a new location. In an attempt to do something worthwhile we may see Asuka lose the matches. A new team will come and win the Tag Team Gold in an impromptu performance at the show. It would allow Asuka to focus on SmackDown Gold while Shayna Baszler is a good contender for the title on the red brand.

Chris Jeter: Given the trajectory of the feud, Asuka SHOULD win both women’s championships, as her getting revenge on just one of her two tormentors comes off as a bit anticlimactic. Plus, putting both titles on her would undo a lot of the damage WWE has done to the character since losing to Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 34. But WWE probably doesn’t have the gumption to make that decision. At the very least, Asuka will beat Sasha Banks to win the RAW Women’s Championship. But given Bayley’s long reign as SmackDown Women’s Champ, WWE will likely keep the belt on her to give the inevitable feud with Banks more stakes.

Ernesto Solano: I can see Asuka winning both belts. Bayley and Sasha are slowly showing friction between themselves again and could potentially get in each other’s ways and creating an opening for Asuka to win the belts.

Kyla Hessler: Asuka should win both the Raw and SmackDown Women’s Championships but it is not her time as of yet. It would be momentous for Asuka to go down in history as a double champion, alongside the likes of Becky Lynch, Bayley, Sasha Banks etc., but since Asuka will have an extended run in the WWE, this is an accomplishment she can wait to achieve.

While Asuka won’t win both titles, she will instead be victorious against The BluePrint, The Boss, Sasha Banks. Although it does pain me to say that The BluePrint will lose the Raw Women’s Championship, it’s evident that Banks cheated her way to the gold anyways. Nevertheless, Sasha still attained her goal of becoming a double champion, alongside her BFF, Bayley, which is exactly why it is reasonable that she is defeated by Asuka at SummerSlam.

Having Asuka as the new Raw Women’s Champion will be better for business, not to mention that Asuka is an impressive competitor, who is worthy of being called champion. Shayna Baszler has made it clear that she is coming for the Raw Women’s title no matter who the champion is, and honestly, an angle developing between Baszler and Asuka would have supreme payout potential in comparison to that of one between Baszler and Banks.

It isn’t likely that Asuka will beat Bayley at SummerSlam, thanks to fatigue, the assistance of Sasha Banks, and the fact that Bayley’s longest SmackDown Women’s title reign deserves to last longer.

Samantha Schipman: Unfortunately, I don’t think she wins any. As much as I would love #AsukaTwoBelts, I don’t think WWE wants that. I’d like Asuka to regain the RAW Women’s championship at the very least. Sasha & Bayley holding all the gold has been fun. I think they’ll keep that going a while longer.
