If ya smell… what The Rock… is… cooking, then it’s going to smell a lot like sweat, rubber and dedication. Because the Project Rock 3’s just dropped.

For we wrestling fans, it’s still kind of surreal how huge The Rock has gotten. Most of us remember the “Die, Rocky, Die!” signs in the crowd.

Fast forward about 30 years and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is the biggest movie star in Hollywood, owns a tequila company, just bought the XFL and has an extremely successful apparel and shoe line with Under Armour.

Speaking of which, Under Armour and The Rock just released the Project Rock 3’s this morning, after teasing them on Monday and spending more than a year designing and working on them.

The PR3’s are designed to be a high-performance training shoe. Meaning, you probably don’t want to use them all day, every day. I mean, you could do that and they would be light, breezy and comfortable, but their purpose is to help people working out in a gym setting.

Don’t forget, your feet are your base. Almost all your workouts are going to involve them. With some new tech and a sleek design, the Project Rock 3’s will have you feeling like a champion after each and every gym session.

(If you’re looking for a slightly sturdier shoe that you could wear day in and day out, I would suggest the PR2’s. I loved mine so much I bought a second pair late last year and wear them all the time.)

You can check out the PR3’s below – and read the specs.
