4.) Mickie James vs. Natalya [Raw Women’s Championship #1C Match]
After Asuka won back the Raw Women’s Championship from Sasha Banks at WWE SummerSlam 2020, her hands were full on her first night back on Raw as a two-time Raw Women’s Champion. She became a big red target because she was not only confronted by the Women’s Tag Team Champions, Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax, in the backstage area, but also more notably confronted by Mickie James, Natalya, and Lana during her promo.
After that exchange, Mickie James defeated Lana in a match. It must have been a pleasant birthday gift for James to defeat the superstar who thinks she is fully elevating the women’s division with solely her social media influence. Since Baszler and Jax are already occupied with their Women’s Tag Team Championship reign, it would be sensible for James and Natalya to battle for the number one contender’s spot this week.
Natalya ruined James’ in-ring return when she defeated her by count-out on the August 17, 2020, episode of WWE Raw. Henceforth, it would be sensible for James to win her rematch with Natalya to attain her babyface comeuppance. On top of that, she can finally earn a shot at becoming a seven-time Women’s Champion against the first woman, Asuka, whom she battled in her epic return to WWE in 2016 at NXT Takeover: Toronto.

3.) Apollo Crews, Ricochet, and Viking Raiders vs. Cedric Alexander and Hurt Business [Faction War: 8-Man Tag Match]
For some strange reason, Cedric Alexander and The Viking Raiders teamed up on last week’s episode to defeat Hurt Business. After the match, Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin attempted to attack Alexander, but MVP prevented them from doing so. This was a sign that MVP had Alexander’s best interests at heart Cedric Alexander could very well join the Hurt Business.
Since Viking Raiders joined the fray, they would help even the odds by teaming up with Apollo Crews and Ricochet to battle Cedric Alexander and The Hurt Business. To fulfill Alexander’s heel turn, Alexander and Hurt Business would win this match. However, the more likely option is that Alexander will battle Lashley for the United States Championship at Clash of Champions.
