WWE Raw Predictions: Keith Lee Will Bask In RETRIBUTION
By Mark Justice
WWE Raw is scheduled to take place on September 14, 2020, at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT live on the USA Network.
On this week’s episode of WWE Raw, there are four scheduled matches as of this writing: (1) Drew McIntyre (c) vs. Keith Lee in a non-title bout, (2) Asuka (c) vs. Mickie James for the Raw Women’s Championship, (3) Dominik Mysterio vs. Seth Rollins inside a Steel Cage, and (4) Street Profits (c) vs. Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura (c) in a non-title champion vs. champion match.
As for WWE Clash of Champions 2020, the only match from the red brand scheduled for the event is: Drew McIntyre (c) vs. Randy Orton for the WWE Championship. As many WWE fans know, Clash of Champions is the PPV where every championship is on the line. The WWE Universe still needs to know who will be next for the other champions on the red brand.
There are even some non-title feuds that are worth being considered for the match card, such as Aleister Black vs. Kevin Owens. However, based on last week’s brawl amongst Kevin Owens, Aleister Black, and Dabba-Kato, there’s a solid chance that this non-title feud will inevitably take place on Raw Underground instead.
Without further ado, it’s now time to preview and predict the matches and segments that will occur on this week’s episode of WWE Raw. To start things off, let’s predict who will win the champion’s warfare between Raw Tag Team Champions Street Profits and SmackDown Tag Team Champions Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura.
5.) Street Profits (c) vs. Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura (c) [Champion vs. Champion Non-Title Match]
On last week’s WWE Raw, Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura challenged Street Profits to a champion vs. champion non-title match. On the following SmackDown, Street Profits distracted Cesaro and Nakamura in their non-title bout against Lucha House Party by throwing an actual party in their Champions’ Lounge, as was viewed on the titantron. Cesaro and Nakamura felt disrespected, especially since their lounge was in a mess after that party.
According to WWE booking rules, that distraction also allowed Lucha House Party to earn a future tag team championship opportunity after pinning Cesaro and Nakamura. In a similar manner to how WWE killed two birds with one stone by continuing the bragging rights feud between Profits and Artists while setting up Lucha House Party as the next SmackDown Tag Title contenders, it will do the same to set up Hurt Business as the next Raw Tag Title Contenders.
Although Street Profits have home-court advantage in this upcoming match on Raw, it’s inevitable that Cesaro and Nakamura will pick up this win to get revenge for what Profits did. However, they won’t get it done on their own, especially since nefarious victories are encouraged when heels come out on top. To protect Street Profits in defeat, Hurt Business will distract Street Profits to help Cesaro and Nakamura pick up the win, thereby setting up a title feud with the Street Profits.
Hurt Business claimed that they want all the gold. With Cedric Alexander now in their group, it is best to strike while the iron is hot and book him to win the tag titles that he and Ricochet were never capable of winning. That way, Alexander can prove that Ricochet was holding him back and that a heel turn with the Hurt Business was what he needed to catapult his career to greater heights. WWE Clash of Champions 2020 would be an ideal stage for this crowning moment.
Prediction: Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura
