WWE Clash of Champions 2020 is scheduled to take place on September 27, 2020, at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT.

WWE Clash of Champions 2020! This is the night where every championship is on the line is game for risible swerves year in and year out. Many things could go wrong with risible swerves and bold predictions, but the following predictions will still be as open-minded as possible.

Since the PPV is two weeks away and a sufficient amount of matches have already been officially announced, it’s an appropriate time to provide some bold predictions for WWE Clash of Champions 2020. Out with the old, in with the bold.

5.) Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax Will Break Up

Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax are scheduled to defend the Women’s Tag Team Championships against two former members of the Riott Squad, Ruby Riott and Liv Morgan. Just like Team Hell No’s Daniel Bryan and Kane, Baszler and Jax’s egos are too big for one ring. However, it is doubtful that their tenure as a dysfunctional, makeshift tag team will last that long.

They still have singles careers to focus on, so dropping the tag team championships to Riott and Morgan and finishing their feud inside Hell in a Cell in November would be an ideal booking decision. This would set either of them up for a Raw Women’s Championship match against Asuka. A triple threat championship match with Asuka would be a neat alternative as well.

Shayna Baszler has persistently told Asuka that she wants next for the Raw Women’s Championship and Nia Jax was never cleanly defeated by Asuka in their feud for the Raw Women’s Championship. Henceforth, a triple threat match amongst Asuka, Baszler, and Jax would be smart booking on the road to WWE Hell in a Cell 2020 in November.
