WWE Raw Women’s Championship Kickoff Match: Asuka (c) vs. Zelina Vega

Of the nine matches set for Clash of Champions, one has already been confirmed to take place on the Kickoff Show before the main pay-per-view begins. Asuka is set to defend the Raw Women’s Championship against Zelina Vega, and this will be the first title match Vega has ever participated in.

While it’s a bit disappointing to put this on the Kickoff Show, it all but confirms the already established belief that Asuka is sure to retain. Hopefully, they’re given enough time on the Kickoff Show to establish Vega’s in-ring ability and put her forward as a legitimate contender, but in the end, it’s clear Asuka will retain.

Prediction: Asuka is still the Raw Women’s Champion

SmackDown Tag Team Championship Match: Cesaro & Shinsuke Nakamura (c) vs. Lucha House Party

Clash of Champions will feature three different matches where tag team gold is on the line, and this is one we’ve seen before. Since capturing the titles from The New Day at The Horror Show at Extreme Rules, Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura have only defended the titles one time.

That defense came just over a month ago on an episode of SmackDown. The trio came up short that night, and tensions have only grown between them since then, making it likely we could see Cesaro and Nakamura retain this Sunday and that Lucha House Party could finally implode.

Prediction: Cesaro & Shinsuke Nakamura are still the SmackDown Tag Team Champions

Raw Tag Team Championship Match: The Street Profits (c) vs. Andrade & Angel Garza

The issues between these teams go back to WrestleMania 36, where things got thrown for a loop when Andrade was injured and unable to compete at the event. Austin Theory filled in for him that night, but we did see Garza and Andrade join forces back at SummerSlam in an attempt to capture the Raw Tag Team Titles.

The pairing held together by Zelina Vega has never beaten The Street Profits, in non-title or championship action, and their team seems to be holding on by a thread with the partners coming to blows in recent weeks. Expect all four men to do their best to give us a fantastic match, but this will likely also see the champions retain and the challengers implode.

Prediction: The Street Profits are still the Raw Tag Team Champions
