It’s time for the Riott Squad to win the tag titles at WWE Clash of Champions 2020.

The Riott Squad will face the current WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler, at WWE Clash of Champions 2020, for the WWE Women’s Tag Team titles. This may be a ferocious uphill battle for Liv Morgan and Ruby Riott who just recently began teaming up again, especially since Jax and Baszler are two dominant women in their own right.

The Riott Squad earned this opportunity to challenge for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships after defeating The IIconics in a number one contenders match on Raw, with the match stipulation being that the losing team must disband. With such high stakes on the line, especially for two real-life BFF’s in Billie Kay and Peyton Royce of The IIconics, it was evident that all four women would be performing on all cylinders.

Each woman gave it their all in the matchup, and fortunately for The Riott Squad, Ruby Riott was able to pick up a pinfall victory against The IIconics, Billie Kay, to earn the tag title match opportunity. This victory came at the unexpected demise of The IIconics, but provided The Riott Squad with a much needed and well-deserved shot at the WWE Women’s Tag Team titles.

It’s about time that the WWE Universe gets to see The Riott Squad in action, together again, even if the group is still missing the final link of Sarah Logan, who was unfortunately released from the WWE along with a handful of other superstars.

While The Riott Squad certainly will have massive shoes to fill on Sunday, September 27, 2020 at the Clash of Champions pay-per-view,The Riott Squad will come out with an unanticipated victory against the dominant, yet uncoordinated team of Baszler and Jax and here are 3 reasons why.
