WWE Draft 2020: Full predictions for the new Raw and SmackDown rosters

Roman Reigns won’t lose the Universal Championship anytime soon, so he’s a lock as a #1 draft pick and top heel on SmackDown. Assuming Reigns retains the Universal Championship against ‘The Fiend Bray Wyatt’ at WWE Hell in a Cell 2020, Big E would be the next top babyface on the blue brand, especially since he is being pushed at a million miles per hour at the moment. Big E should be a lock for Roman’s ultimate WrestleMania opponent for the Universal Championship.

Another main event-caliber superstar who will make his way to the blue brand is Seth Rollins. Seth Rollins has over-done his stay on Raw and has never been on SmackDown. His momentum has sunk lately and he needs to change his ‘Monday Night Messiah’ Gimmick to something different. Moving away from Monday Nights would do the trick. However, don’t be surprised if he keeps his sacrilegious gimmick and call himself the ‘Friday Night Friar’ for alliteration purposes.

Meanwhile, his long-time rival, Kevin Owens, would be a neat addition to the blue brand. Not only can he get his Universal Championship rematch by battling Reigns but he can also reunite with Intercontinental Champion, Sami Zayn, once again. If Zayn ever loses the Intercontinental Title, Owens could team up with Zayn to help him get revenge against Cesaro and Nakamura for turning on him and breaking up the Artist Collective by winning the SmackDown Tag Titles.

After Zayn won the championship with a genius handcuff idea at WWE Champions 2020, it is evident that Jeff Hardy would want a rematch for the Intercontinental Championship at WWE Hell in a Cell 2020. Unfortunately, it is possible that Hardy wins the title back by unleashing Willow inside Hell in a Cell. There have been rumors of him wanting to bring that gimmick back and even his old theme music back, so this could be his transformative way of getting redemption.

As for NXT call ups, Johnny Gargano would be an ideal addition to the blue brand. As mentioned earlier, he should get called up with Candice LeRae. Gargano has done everything possible in NXT. After he loses his NXT North American Championship match against Damian Priest at NXT Takeover 31, he will have nothing else to accomplish in NXT and he would do a lot more in the mid-card and main card on SmackDown as a credible heel.

There’s definitely another ‘bro’ who is ‘high’ up in the ranks on SmackDown, but he’s just there.
