Intercontinental Championship Match: Sami Zayn (c) vs. Big E

Moving to the singles division on SmackDown, we have Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn who regained retained his title at WWE Clash of Champions 2020. While we might see an initial attempt by Jeff Hardy or AJ Styles to go back after the Intercontinental Championship, both men could also find themselves drafted to WWE Raw or involved in all-new storylines.

That leaves Sami Zayn open for a new challenger, and no one feels more perfect than Big E. After an attack by Sheamus took away his chance to earn a shot at the Universal Championship, Big E could look to rekindle his budding run as a singles competitor by going after a different title and challenging Sami Zayn at WWE Hell in a Cell 2020.

Raw Women’s Championship Match: Asuka (c) vs. Candice LeRae

As for the Raw Women’s Championship, Asuka proved once again at WWE Clash of Champions 2020 that “nobody is ready for Asuka.” After a dominant victory against Zelina Vega, Asuka needs a new challenger, and where better to find one than WWE NXT?

While Candice LeRae has a chance to dethrone Io Shirai for the NXT Women’s Championship at NXT TakeOver: 31, should she lose it wouldn’t be surprising to see her moved to the main roster to find a fresh start and give a new face to the women’s division on WWE Raw. Asuka vs. LeRae is an absolute dream match, and it would be great to see these two go one-on-one at a pay-per-view stage like WWE Hell in a Cell 2020.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Match: The Riott Squad (c) vs. RETRIBUTION

Initially, The Riott Squad were scheduled to challenge Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles at WWE Clash of Champions 2020. While there’s been pushback from the champions, WWE announced they were not medically cleared to compete for Clash of Champions.

That either means the titles will be vacated, or The Riott Squad will soon get their title shot once the champions are cleared. Either way, I fully expect Liv Morgan and Ruby Riott to be holding gold soon, only to find themselves up against Reckoning (formerly Mia Yim) and Retaliation (formerly Mercedes Martinez) as RETRIBUTION looks to begin their campaign of destruction by seizing control of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles.
