WWE SmackDown kept Roman Reigns and added Seth Rollins. What’s next up for the Blue Brand after a successful draft?

Despite having fewer picks than Raw, WWE SmackDown ended up with a loaded roster. They now have Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and Kevin Owens operating at the top of the Men’s Division, and the Women’s Division remains strong with Bianca Belair added to a group that is headlined by title rivals Bayley and Sasha Banks.

Here’s a look at five bold predictions for the Blue Brand after this year’s draft.

Big E will be the Universal Champion on WWE SmackDown by WrestleMania

I still have my eyes on Big E vs. Roman Reigns as the Universal Title match at WrestleMania 37. But I could also see Roman holding this title for at least a year, given how talented he is, how popular his character is right now, and how much he’s needed a reign like this to further establish himself as one of the greats. Because that’s what this run is about.

That said, WWE have an opportunity to build another top star in Big E, and that’s something they’ve needed to do every year. Brock Lesnar put over Roman in 2018, Seth Rollins in 2019, and Drew McIntyre this year. And all three had great babyface runs.

Now, Reigns is filling the role of a much more compelling Brock Lesnar alongside Paul Heyman, in the sense that he is the main attraction and the guy everyone is trying to knock off.

I think Big E will be the one to take him down at WrestleMania.
