Ken Shamrock vs. Goldberg in Impact Wrestling or WWE? Could it happen?

Ken Shamrock appeared on The Angle Podcast and immediately expressed his desire to fight the Iconic Goldberg, currently active as a part-timer in WWE.

The two powerhouses never got an opportunity to lock horns inside WWE’s squared circle.

The former UFC legend impressed the wrestling world and fans worldwide with his phenomenal physique when he returned to wrestling in 2019 after a long hiatus.

The future Impact Wrestling Hall of Fame Inductee stayed clear about his choice of opponent in wrestling and said,

"“In wrestling that’s a real easy one for me, It’s Goldberg. I felt that his character meshed well with who I am, and he worked pretty stiff. Unfortunately, he was in the other in the other company, but I have confidence that one day we can get that one done. I think his style with mine would be a really good match.”"

Does Goldberg vs. Ken Shamrock have a shot at happening?

Ken Shamrock is Bound for Glory as the current Impact star has a match at a show of the same name. Goldberg has a Legends Deal with the WWE while Shamrock is a part of the rival company, so it would be interesting to see how the two could come along to make this dream match come to fruition. The World’s Most Dangerous Man will be inducted in the Impact Hall of Fame this weekend, but will it a good idea to see a surprise entrant.

While it may sound good, we all know that Goldberg is signed with WWE till 2023 so a quick response is out of the picture, but you never know because some breathtaking matches have taken place in the past and the fans wouldn’t mind waiting for it in three years. Shamrock also expressed his displeasure that as the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion with his rival company a match between them seems impossible soon.

28-17-2 UFC stat holder didn’t rule out the possibility and had praiseful words for his future opponent. A match that gives the fans something worthwhile to remember will be a good idea because 2020 has not been too good in any sense of the word for the world.
