Impact Wrestling: Details revealed about Kylie Rae’s absence from Bound For Glory
By Sam Gladen
Details have emerged in the last twenty-four hours about the reasoning behind one of the absences last night at Impact Wrestling’s Bound For Glory PPV.
Initially reported by F4WOnline’s Brian Alvarez, Kylie Rae was kept off of Impact Wrestling‘s Bound For Glory pay per view because of an injury that is not considered serious but had no additional details about the nature of the injury.
She was meant to challenge current Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo for her title. She was replaced on the Pay Per View by a returning Su Yung who had moved away from her Susie gimmick.
Su was successful in her challenge for the Knockouts Title. She ended Purrazzo’s reign at just under 100 days. Holding the title for the second time in her career. Kylie’s absence was explained away on the pay per view saying that she had neglected to show up.
It was later reported by Fightful.com through their Fightful Select service that Kylie Rae traveled to Nashville with several talents and even inquired about call times but when the time came for her to show she missed that call time.
Kylie Rae is reportedly doing ‘well’
According to their report, there was a sense of unease amongst the locker room and several members of the locker room reached out to Kylie directly and people close to her and were informed that she was “alive and well”.
Rae signed a deal with Impact Wrestling back in March of this year following her release from All Elite Wrestling late last year. She debuted with the company at last year’s Bound For Glory as part of the gauntlet match.
There has been no official statement from Kylie Rae or Impact Wrestling at of writing this piece on Sunday afternoon.
