Did Daniel Bryan approve of Big E’s singles push in WWE? Yes, Yes, Yes!
Big E appeared on Gorilla Position recently and shared that it was the leader of the Yes Movement, Daniel Bryan, who is behind his singles push. The former Intercontinental Champion thanked the former WWE SmackDown General Manager for his singles push. Big E stated that he felt he had a voice in the locker room, and that is an enriching experience for any superstar. H/T Sportskeeda
The eight-time WWE Tag Team Champion Big E was a singles superstar on the black and gold brand, but it all changed in July of 2014 when he teamed with Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods to form one of the revered tag teams in the history of the wrestling business.
The New Day broke on the first night of the draft when Woods and Kingston moved to the red brand while Big E got drafted to SmackDown. It did seem disappointing to fans as the tag team has given us memorable moments over the years, but there was also a voice that Big E deserves a singles push and WWE did listen to the WWE Universe.
Big E has earned a massive singles push in WWE
This experience is an enriching one, and Big E expressed his gratitude to the former World Heavyweight Champion who also hinted that this could be his last run.
Daniel Bryan is known to push talents as is evident from his time as the General Manager of SmackDown when he allowed the tag team of Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens to shine before facing them in his return tag team match at WrestleMania.
The journey till now has been phenomenal as Big E fought Sheamus in his inaugural feud as a singles performer. We would have to see how the company gives Big E a push that he deserves in every way possible.
