Roman Reigns and Jey Uso had a feud for the ages on WWE SmackDown, but the decorated tag team champion has fallen in line. Who is next for the Big Dog?

There are some amazing storylines and characters in professional wrestling right now, but nobody is doing it better than WWE‘s top star Roman Reigns. He’s essentially become a mob boss on Friday Night SmackDown, creating his “family”, which will be stable known as the “Bloodline”.

Jey Uso, his rival at Hell in a Cell and Clash of Champions, has already joined him and is quickly benefiting. He defeated Daniel Bryan last week on SmackDown to qualify for the Survivor Series elimination match, and then he defeated his teammate Kevin Owens this week after Reigns felt KO disrespected the family.

But who will be next for Reigns to feud with after Survivor Series?

According to the Wrestling Observer News’ Dave Meltzer, via the Cageside Seats Rumor Roundup, Roman Reigns is ticketed for a dream feud with Daniel Bryan next.

Roman Reigns vs. Daniel Bryan would be a dream feud for the WWE Universal Championship

It makes sense, since Bryan was brutally attacked by Jey the night that Jey decided to “fall in line” and join the Tribal Chief to form the beginnings of the Bloodline stable. There’s no way Bryan forgets what Reigns and Uso did to him.

But Bryan also has sights on the Intercontinental Championship, based on a backstage interaction we saw between himself and the current champion Sami Zayn. Bryan values that title perhaps more than any other in wrestling, because it is the workhorse title. He wants to make it a workhorse title again, which heel champions like Zayn have not. (And we all remember the infamous argument Bryan and The Miz got into about being a “fighting champion” while holding the IC Title.)

Bryan vs. Roman, especially with the current character Reigns has, is the definition of a dream feud. These two men are two of the greatest wrestlers in WWE history. They have it all as athletes, story-tellers, and promos.

So if this is the Universal Title rivalry that is indeed up next after Survivor Series, you can pretty much count every WWE fan in.
