WWE WrestleMania 37: 3 early main event predictions for the Show of Shows
Sasha Banks vs. Bianca Belair
We’re due for another women’s main event of WrestleMania 37 after many of us thought we’d get Sasha Banks vs. Bayley at ‘Mania 36. We ended up getting the dream rivalry on the main roster at Hell in a Cell, and they absolutely met our expectations by delivering what was probably the Match of the Year.
I could see Banks vs. Bayley happening again at ‘Mania 37 under the right circumstances, but I really don’t want to put pressure on either of them to make it happen.
So instead, I’ll go with another awesome WrestleMania main event that would own the show and probably feature some of the best promos we’ve seen in a build-up to a WrestleMania match since WrestleMania 35.
Bianca Belair is WWE’s next big star. Everyone who has watched her in NXT and who has followed her career since her breakout performance at the first Mae Young Classic understands this. We understand that Belair is the total package. Her promos, athletic ability, and character work are all off the charts. She does all the little things you look for in someone who can be a major star.
Frustratingly for many of us, Belair never won the NXT Title. But that would make a title win at WrestleMania all the more meaningful, especially one in the main event of WrestleMania against Mandalorian star, The Boss.
Sasha is in line for a lengthy run after being robbed of one each time she was Raw Women’s Champion. She and Roman are the top stars of SmackDown, and Banks is about to become bigger than wrestling with her sensational work with Star Wars.
So imagine the scenes if Belair beats her at WrestleMania 37.
But forget about who wins and loses. This match would be incredible.
