WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Sasha Banks spoke to wrestling reporter Stephanie Chase after her Survivor Series match against Asuka and had some words about Bayley as well as Alexa Bliss. The Legit Boss won against Raw Women’s Champion Asuka at the brand-specific show, but she had more to say through her words after proving her skill between the ropes. Sasha Banks and Alexa Bliss were against each other three years ago, and it is clear that the two complimented each other between the ropes. The fight between the two began on an episode of Raw when on the 26th June episode of Raw, Banks became the number one contender for Bliss’ championship at the Great Balls of Fire show on 9th July in the same year. The match went well but the champion retained via a count-out. The current SmackDown Women’s Champion won the title from the champion at that time Alexa Bliss but lost it in a matter of eight days.

It led to a downward spiral of a powerful story, and at this moment it seems highly unlikely that Alexa Bliss will join hands with the champion as Bliss is part of a storyline involving The Fiend. If it happens, it would be exceptional storytelling on weekly television, especially as the two are immensely talented both in the ring and on the mic.

The team of Bliss and Banks will be an ideal competitor for any up and coming tag team, and together they can put a lot of superstars over before losing the belt. It would be the rightful storyline to pick up from 2017, and the WWE Universe will enjoy the process.
