AJ Styles

AJ Styles, when he came to WWE there was no end to the amount of dream matches the WWE Universe pondered. What’s worse, is the dream matches we missed out on, Styles vs HBK, versus The Rock, versus CM Punk; one dream match that is now a possibility, is Styles vs Edge. The Phenomenal One has been, well, phenomenal since making his rumble debut, winning titles left, right, and centre despite the fact that he isn’t exactly the typical Vince McMahon view of a world champion.

But he has a resume to date that betters those in the company longer than him and will almost certainly make it into the Hall of Fame. So there seems to be no reason why Styles won’t want to face Edge at WrestleMania, a proven Hall of Famer in his own right and legend in the business. They would most likely put on a very good match as well.

Styles has a tendency to be able to get the best out of his rivals whoever they may be, even putting on a really good Mania match with Shane McMahon, so it makes sense that Edge vs Styles would deliver as much in the ring in real life as it would in our fantasies. The result of this one is less defined, either man could go over as neither will be hurt nor helped by a win, although it will be a good looking notch on either’s record.

Stipulation for this one has to be a classic singles match, with one pinfall ending the question of who is the better wrestler. What’s more this match doesn’t require a championship to enhance the storyline, although it could, and that gives WWE more creative freedom elsewhere on the card.
