Is Bruce Prichard becoming second-in-command to Vince McMahon in WWE?

Bruce Prichard has become the go-to person in the WWE after Vince and the members of the McMahon clan. The former SmackDown General Manager now holds control over the creative process of both the brands.

According to a report by PWInsider, Bruce Prichard’s word is “Gospel” to Vince McMahon – such is his influence now as the head of creative. PW Insider reports that Prichard is seen as being more powerful than anyone in the company outside the McMahon Family. But his power has reportedly become a reason of stress backstage, and it is one of the reasons why Prichard’s absence from this week’s episode of Raw looked like a “breath of fresh air” for the roster.

He took charge after Vince McMahon removed Eric Bischoff as the Creative Director for the blue brand and then took control of Monday Nights after The Mad Genius Paul Heyman took off his duties in the same designation as Eric Bischoff.

Bruce Prichard runs the creative ideas, but one can be sure that Paul Heyman’s creativity will make the content edgy and more appealing than appalling to the members of the WWE Universe. We have seen how Heyman pushed a plethora of superstars on the brand, but the same is not the situation anymore as Bruce is not in any mood to get a superstar over. There has been far less star-building recently in WWE.

It is one of the reasons why no superstar got the opportunity to rise at or after Survivor Series. The biggest issue faced in such a scenario goes to the producers who despite feeling the need to push a superstar cannot do so as Prichard is on the other end ready to take it down in a matter of moments.
