WWE Raw Predictions: Vince McMahon Will Steal Christmas

4.) Shayna Baszler & Nia Jax vs. Mandy Rose & Dana Brooke [Tag Match]
Assuming Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax lose the Women’s Tag Team Championships to Asuka and her mystery partner, they will battle Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke, who attacked them last week. Baszler and Jax will become dysfunctional after losing the Women’s Tag Team Championships, so this match will be a way of solidifying their dissension. Rose and Brooke will need to capitalize on Baszler and Jax’s unwillingness to work together to pick up the victory.
Rose and Brooke need the momentum to get back into the title picture, so defeating the former Women’s Tag Team Champions would set them up for another title opportunity. They helped Asuka fend off Baszler and Jax when Lana was in trouble, so Asuka and her mystery partner will be more than happy to give them a title opportunity at either next week’s episode of Raw or the Royal Rumble event in January.
Prediction: Mandy Rose & Dana Brooke
3.) Team Ricochet vs. RETRIBUTION [5 vs. 5 Elimination Tag Match]
Ricochet has had a tough time prevailing against RETRIBUTION in recent weeks on WWE Raw. It seems that he needs a team to topple this faction. He can basically search for five babyfaces in catering and ask them to be on his team. They can’t reject his offer because they should want TV time. Since it’s Christmas season and 50:50 booking is prevalent in the WWE, Team Ricochet can pick up the good-feel babyface victory here.
It would be a neat twist if Ricochet somehow turned heel and joined forces with RETRIBUTION, but he is a natural babyface who quite frankly would not fit well in that group. When one takes into consideration how poorly RETRIBUTION has been booked as a faction, it is also self-explanatory that joining RETRIBUTION would not do Ricochet any favors in the long-term trajectory of his career.
